After all is said and done, you are left with a sense of utter perplexity. You wonder about the meaning of it all. Was this a joke?
Or were we just living in a simulation gone wrong?

Dreadful Day Ever
It all started with a case of uncontrollable hair. I couldn't make it to look right. As I was scrambling out the door, I trippedover and dropped my lunch all over the carpet. To make matters worse, I was totally running behind for school.

A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to throw your hands up.
